在每个48小时的周末, approximately 13 upperclassmen join the team as 领导人 to assist the 呸!咄! staff in bringing the retreat to fruition. Each Leader is assigned a group of first-year students and by engaging in personal discussions, 他们分享了他们在不列颠哥伦比亚省多年来收集的建议和智慧.

These personal narratives are presented either individually to the retreat audience or as part of a panel made up of other members of the Leader team.
领导人 are encouraged to keep in touch with their groups following the weekend, helping provide valuable advice and friendship based on a mentoring relationship that 48hours initiates.

- 48hours 领导人 must be members of the 初级 or senior class—初级s selected to lead are not guaranteed the position if they choose to re-apply during their Senior year.
- 48hours 领导人 must be interested in mentoring first-year students and be willing to share their own transition experiences.
- 48hours 领导人 must be willing to prioritize the Leader training meetings and retreat preparation over other non-academic commitments in the month leading up to the retreat weekend.

Current undergraduate first year students are eligible to participate in one 48hours retreat in either the fall or spring semester of their first year at 电子游戏软件. 每个周末静修, 大约有150名学生参加了这个项目, 包括二年级, 初级, 高级学生干部.

- Identify how retreat programs and the act of reflection are instrumental in the process of student formation and in the context of their Jesuit education; with the expectation that students will demonstrate a concerted effort to disrupt previously established routines and engage further in formative programs.
- Appreciate the commonality of first year transitional challenges and have an improved sense of community at BC, which will instill hopeful future expectations about their college experience and encourage greater vulnerability in seeking supports to these challenges.
- 认识到他们在学术上的习惯或行为模式, 社会 and interior lives; and implement practical strategies that will allow them to make improvements in those areas.
